Nuneaton Festival of Arts 2024 SAVE THE DATES
ART, CRAFT, NEEDLECRAFT and PHOTOGRAPHY SECTIONS
We are pleased to announce that we will be holding ‘mini festival exhibitions’ for the above sections this year.
The venues and exhibition dates will be:
King Edward VI College, ‘W’ block, Rope Walk for CRAFT + NEEDLECRAFT (29th March – 3rd April)
The Atkins Building, Hinckley for ART (12th – 19th April) and PHOTOGRAPHY (29th April-8th May)
2024 SYLLABUS and details for entering for these four sections will be found on the relevant section page to download, OR paper copies will be delivered to Nuneaton Museum and Art Gallery, some libraries and shops 20th- 23rd January 2024.

Nuneaton Festival of Arts is a celebration of the arts including performing arts, visual arts and creative arts.
The festival is held every year in and around Nuneaton, and is open to all ages, children and adults, all cultures and abilities from anywhere in the UK. Entries are welcomed from individuals, groups, schools, etc. Classes can be non- competitive or competitive. All classes are adjudicated and all entrants receive a comment sheet from the adjudicator.
The Performing Arts
The performing arts include the piano, stage dancing, speech and drama, vocal and woodwind, strings and brass sections. Performance days are held during April and May, where entrants perform, are adjudicated and awards presented to winners of the competitive classes. Members of the public are welcome to watch, tickets and programmes are sold on the door or can be obtained in advance from the Festival Secretary (see Contact us)
The Visual Arts
The visual arts include the photography and art sections. Entries are taken to, and displayed, in Nuneaton Museum and Art Gallery on specific dates from February to April. Entries are adjudicated and awards are presented to the winners of the competitive classes at a presentation evening. Members of the public are welcome to visit the exhibitions at the Nuneaton Museum and Art gallery. Entry is free.
The Creative Arts
The creative arts include craft, needlecraft, original writing and floral sections. Craft and Needlecraft entries are taken to, and displayed, in Nuneaton Museum and Art Gallery during May and June. Entries are adjudicated and awards are presented to the winners of the competitive classes at a presentation evening. Members of the public are welcome to visit the exhibitions at the Nuneaton Museum and Art gallery. Entry is free.
The floral entries are created, displayed and adjudicated one weekend in May/June at the Chilvers Coton Church Hall. Members of the public are welcome to visit the display of work over the weekend and awards are presented to the winners of the competitive classes at the end of the weekend.
Original Writing entries are handed in during March and sent to the adjudicator. Awards are presented to the winners of the competitive classes a presentation evening after Easter.
The winning entries are displayed in Nuneaton Library after the presentations.
